For soap, candle, cosmetics and food makers
Know what every bar, jar and candle really costs, and how many batches you can still make.

Your first batch in Stockria
From recipe to cured, costed, labelled stock
01 · Cost per unit
The true cost of one bar, from one recipe
Write the recipe for one batch: oils in grams, lye in grams, fragrance in millilitres, the box it goes in. Say the batch makes 12 bars. Stockria prices every line from what you paid and shows the cost per bar.

02 · Batch
Make a batch, get a lot number
Start a batch and the materials come off the shelf in grams. When you finish, enter what you really got. Bars that broke go in their own box, so the cost is shared over the good ones only.

03 · Curing
Curing batches wait where you can see them
Soap curing for four weeks, an oil infusing, a candle that needs to set. The In Production board shows every batch with its ready date. Release it when it is ready and only then can it be sold.

04 · Can make
How many more batches can I make?
Each recipe shows how many you can make from the oils, wax and jars on your shelf, and which one runs out first. Order more before a market, not after.

How it works
How a batch maker sets up Stockria
- 01
Add materials the way you buy them
A 25 kg sack of wax, a 5 l tin of olive oil, a pack of 100 wicks. Enter what you paid. Stockria keeps the count in the unit you use.
- 02
Write each recipe per batch
List the grams and millilitres for one batch and how many bars, jars or candles it makes. Add your labour minutes if you want them in the cost.
- 03
Make, cure, release
Start the batch, let it cure on the In Production board, then release it with what you really got. The cost per unit, the lot number and the expiry date are written for you.

Cost per bar
$3.25
Sell at $8.13 for a 60% margin, a profit of $4.88 per bar.
Keep this recipe. Stockria saves it with your materials, so the cost updates when a price changes and each batch you make takes stock off the shelf.
Straight answers
What batch makers ask before they switch
"I buy oils by the kilo and use them by the gram."
Set the unit you buy in and the unit you use, once. Buy a 25 kg sack, write the recipe in grams, receive the next sack in kilos. Stockria converts every time, so the cost per gram is always right.
"My soap cures for four to six weeks before I can sell it."
Start the batch as work in progress. The oils and lye leave the shelf on the day you make it, so your materials count is honest. The bars wait on the In Production board and can't be sold until you release them.
"My yield is never what the recipe says."
When you release a batch, you enter what you really got and what was lost. Stockria divides the real cost by the good units, not the planned ones, and saves that as the cost per unit.
"I don't want a bill that grows every time I get busy."
It doesn't. Stockria is a flat monthly price. It does not change with your orders, your sales or your number of items. Pro is $19 a month. You only move to a bigger plan when you add more people or more locations.
"I don't want to pay extra to unlock batches or work orders."
You won't. Every feature is on every plan, Free included: recipes, work orders, work in progress, lots and expiry dates, machines and labour, purchase orders and reports. Plans only differ by items, users and locations. Free covers 250 items, and raw materials count as items.
An honest comparison
What batch makers use today, and what it costs
Public prices, checked in October 2026. If something has changed, email hello@stockria.com and we fix the page. If you plan production across several factories with a full-time planner, a manufacturing platform is the better fit. Stockria is built for the small workshop.
Common questions
