What CNC machine shops see on day one
From materials on the shelf to a real cost per part
01 · Cost per part
A part recipe with bar stock, machine and labour
Inches of bar from the rack, minutes on the mill at its hourly rate, and minutes of deburring. Stockria shows the cost per part before you quote.

02 · Work order
A work order that collects the real cost
Open a work order, log time on each machine and person as the job runs, and use material as you cut it. The total is what the job really cost, not the guess.

03 · Can make
How many parts can I cut from the rack?
Each part shows how many you can make from the bar stock on hand, and which stock runs out first. Check before you promise a delivery date.

Straight answers
What CNC machine shops ask before they switch
"I buy bar by the foot and cut it by the inch."
Set the unit you buy in and the unit you use, once. Receive a 6 ft bar, cut 3.125 in per part, and Stockria keeps the count and the cost per inch right.
"My quotes leave out setup and tool wear."
Setup is time on the machine before the first good part. Spread it over the job. Tool wear is a few cents to a dollar a part. Put both in the part's cost once, and every quote includes them.
"I never know what a job really cost after it ran."
Open a work order for the job and log machine and labour minutes as it runs. Stockria adds the material you used and shows what the job really cost next to what you quoted.
"I don't want a bill that grows every time I get busy."
It doesn't. Stockria is a flat monthly price. It does not change with your orders, your sales or your number of items. Pro is $19 a month. You only move to a bigger plan when you add more people or more locations.
"I don't want to pay extra to unlock batches or work orders."
You won't. Every feature is on every plan, Free included: recipes, work orders, work in progress, lots and expiry dates, machines and labour, purchase orders and reports. Plans only differ by items, users and locations. Free covers 250 items, and raw materials count as items.

Yes. Sell the job at cost plus a margin or a markup, add a rush fee if you need to, and send it as a quote or a sales order. The job keeps its real cost so you can compare later.
Yes. Repeat parts get a recipe. One-off jobs get a work order where you log material and time as you go. Both end with a real cost.
