Updated October 2026. Every price below was checked on the tool's own website on 4 October 2026. We refresh this guide every quarter.
We make Stockria, one of the tools on this list. We have tried to be fair, and Stockria is not a print farm tool. It does a different job, so we say plainly where the others are the better pick.
Two jobs, often two tools
A print farm has two problems:
- Running the printers. Sending files, queueing jobs, watching for failures, clearing beds.
- Running the business. How much filament is left, how many parts are in stock, what one part costs, and what to reorder.
Print farm software solves the first. Inventory software solves the second. A few print farm tools now do part of the second job too, so we cover both.

Our number: what printer control costs per printer
For a 10-printer farm, the published prices work out to about $1 to $30 per printer a month: AutoFarm3D Lite at $9.99 for 10 printers is about $1 each, SimplyPrint Print Farm is about 4 euros each, and the full AutoFarm3D plan is $29.99 each. Inventory and costing on top costs $0 on Stockria Free, or $19 a month on Pro for the whole farm.
1. Printago
Price: connect unlimited printers for free and pay for production slots, the number of jobs it runs at once. The first slot is free, and paid slots start at $3.67 a month.
Good for print farms because: it does more than run printers. It imports orders from Shopify, Etsy, eBay, WooCommerce and ShipStation, tracks filament across the fleet, and shows material, labour and overhead cost per SKU.
Not for you if: you also sell things you do not print, or you need stock in several locations, lots and purchase orders. Then an inventory tool next to it helps.
2. SimplyPrint
Price (euros): Free for 2 printers. Basic 5.99, Pro 9.99 for 5 printers, Print Farm 39.99 a month for 10 printers. About 15% off yearly. 14-day trial.
Good for print farms because: it is mature, works with many printer brands, and the Print Farm plan adds a queue, auto print, a maintenance dashboard, inventory and schedules.
Not for you if: you want sales channel stock sync and cost per part in the same place. Check its feature list for what you need.
3. AutoFarm3D
Price: Lite $9.99 a month for 10 printers. The full plan is $29.99 per printer a month, with auto ejection, an order queue and a products module. It runs on a hub or a Raspberry Pi 4.
Good for print farms because: its auto ejection keeps printers busy around the clock. Lite is one of the cheapest ways to watch a whole farm from one screen.
Not for you if: you need inventory, purchasing and costing. That is not what it is built for.
4. Stockria
Price: Free for 250 items and 1 user. Pro $19/mo with unlimited items and 2 users. Business $39/mo with 8 users. Growth $89/mo with 25 users.
Good for print farms because:
- Filament by the gram. Buy 1 kg spools, use grams. Every finished part takes its grams off the shelf.
- Cost per part. Add your printers as machines with an hourly rate, plus labour minutes and a waste percent for failed prints. Each part shows its true cost.
- Build to order. When an order comes in from Shopify, Etsy, Amazon or WooCommerce, Stockria can create the work order for you.
- Everything else you sell. Hardware, inserts, packaging and parts you buy in, in one stock count.
- Set up for you, free. Send us your parts list and we build it.
Not for you if: you want one tool that also runs your printers. Stockria does not slice, queue or control printers.
See how Stockria works for job shops, including 3D printing.
5. A spreadsheet
Price: free.
Good for print farms because: it is fine for a few printers and a few products.
Not for you if: you sell on more than one shop or run more than a handful of colours. Spool counts drift fast.
